Instagram's Edits App Now Lets You Build Carousels

Instagram's free video editor, Edits, can now create carousels, not just reels.
Key features
- Mix photos and videos on one canvas
- Layouts, cutout stickers, filters and adjustments
- Images and headlines can run across several slides, making the swipe part of the story
- Saved presets (colour, audio, text styles) carry over
- Share straight to Instagram or download to post later
Availability
It's live on iOS now, with Android "coming soon". Open Edits, go to Projects, tap + and choose Carousel.
What it means for downloads
More carousels will contain mixed video and photo slides. Our Carousel Downloader already lists every slide separately with its own type.
