What is the Instagram Profile Picture Downloader?
Instagram shows profile photos as a small circle, and you can't tap to enlarge it. This tool fetches the larger public copy. Depending on how busy Instagram's servers are, you get the HD version (up to 1080 px) or, as a fallback, the small public preview (about 100–320 px).
Why sizes differ
We try the HD method first. If Instagram is rate-limiting, we fall back to the public preview image. It is small (often 100 px) but always available.
